- There are some good comments here. I thing the problem with the economy comes down to job loss. Lets take a look at what has happened. The banks go belly up, Home mortgages are in default, auto companies going broke, Retailers closing on an unprecedented scale.

- If and I mean If Obama comes across with a work program that puts 4-5 million to work and If the US decides to put our companies on equal footing with China, India and Pakistan we might pull out of the coming depression in 2010.

- First quarter of 09 will be up due to expectations from Obama, Then its down hill as credit card companies default and lending gets even tighter than it is now. Home owners will continue to lose homes as jobs are not available.
